AFRICOM in Africa

http://rinf.com/alt-news/newswire/north-africa-hit-drone-programme/

The US military’s Africa Command (AFRICOM) is preparing to develop at least one new US drone and Special Forces base in North Africa

“The presence of ISIL and other extremist groups in Libya, particularly in eastern Libya, is of significant concern to the US,” General Carter Ham, former commander of AFRICOM and now a consultant with an elite Washington strategy firm, told the Journal.

Official recognition of Tunisia as a “major non-NATO ally” on Friday suggests that Tunis is a leading candidate for the expanded US military presence. The US State Department upgraded Tunisia to special ally status on Friday.
Any new US bases in North Africa will come in addition to a network of US military facilities, garrisons, and covert small-unit deployments that already spans the entire continent. AFRICOM has maintained some level of military presence in literally every single African country for years. US forces under AFRICOM were engaged in live military operations in at least 13 countries as of 2014.

Just as with the ongoing imperialist-orchestrated military interventions throughout West Africa, Central Africa and the Horn of Africa, the threat of Islamist extremism is serving as the all-purpose pretext for efforts by the former colonial overlords to militarize the entire Mediterranean and reassert their own interests in both Northern and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Having ransacked Libya, flooding the surrounding countries with weapons and militants that have profoundly destabilized the political structure of the entire region, US imperialism is preparing new catastrophes further afield.

In remarks Monday, US State Department spokesman Admiral Kirby John pledged continuing US involvement in the civil war in Nigeria(?), issuing harsh denunciations of the Islamist group Boko Haram, the favored bogeyman and central pretext for an expanding US-led military buildup in West Africa. In the wake of the ascension of a US-backed former dictator to the Nigerian presidency and the deployment of thousands of US and US-backed troops on Nigeria’s northeastern border, the meaning of such comments is clear.

Note: Without Ebola or the rent-a-jihadi-terrorist, the western (anglo/khazar) ruling-turds would have no pretext (deceit/cover) to deploy its jackals.

Funding jihad: Al-Shabab cash lures in young Kenyans

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-30419987

As Kenyan troops fight al-Shabab militants in Somalia, the extremist group’s propaganda machine is targeting disillusioned young men back home in Kenya’s poorest neighbourhoods.

What is also unremarkable(?) about this young man is that he says he only joined the Islamist militant group in Somalia, where he was based for two years, because they offered him money.
Three women we met whose relatives all went to fight with al-Shabab in Somalia told us their relatives had gone to fight in Somalia for the same reason.
The 24-year-old former recruit we met, whose identity we are protecting, says he was paid more than $1,000 (£640) to join the group.

Note: NO idealogical or religious basis for support.

Israeli Fighter Jets Join Saudi Arabia in War on Yemen

http://wakeupfromyourslumber.com/israeli-fighter-jets-join-saudi-arabia-in-war-on-yemen/

Israel’s fighter jets have taken part in the Thursday Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen, sources in Sanaa disclosed on Friday. “This is for the first time that the Zionists are conducting a joint operation in coalition with Arabs,” Secretary General of Yemen’s Al-Haq Political Party Hassan Zayd wrote on his facebook page.

Five Persian Gulf States — Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait — backed by the US have declared war on Yemen in a joint statement issued earlier Thursday. US President Barack Obama authorized the provision of logistical and intelligence support to the military operations, National Security Council Spokesperson Bernadette Meehan said late Wednesday night.

The Saudi aggression has received growing international condemnation as it is pushing the region and the world into an unprecedented fast-growing war as its ISIL mercenaries are on the brink of complete annihilation in Iraq and Syria.

Note: We see exposed the nexus of interests – US, Zionist Israel, Saudi Arabia, ISIS/ISIL, Turkey and other vassal Arab states.

Activist Post – US Stationing Marines In Ghana On Eve Of Nigerian Elections

http://www.activistpost.com/2015/03/report-us-stationing-marines-in-ghana.html

According to a report by Nigerian Watch, a UK-based magazine for Nigerian communities, hundreds of US Marines are now being stationed in Ghana as the Nigerian elections begin to take place. The Marines are allegedly being stationed in Ghana so as to be available to remove American personnel from Nigeria if the elections result in violence, a possibility that some analysts are expecting. Nigerian Watch reports that “that there may be post-election violence, especially after the results are announced as neither the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) or the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) is likely to accept defeat.” … The source also allegedly stated that “There are well over 200 marines and they are camped at the airport. The helicopters are believed to be meant for the quick evacuation of Americans in Nigeria in the event of violence.” … Not only are Boko Haram’s connections to ISIS (and hence US intelligence) well-documented, but the terrorists groups’ own military interests in terms of territory and destabilization are conveniently the same as those of the US and AFRICOM whenever one views it on the map. Taken into consideration the geopolitical and geostrategic interests of these locations – particularly between the US and China – and one can easily begin to see the role that Boko Haram plays in the battle between two major powers over natural resources, investment, and influence. Whatever the true nature of the military troop placement may be (assuming Nigerian Watch’s sources are correct), given the track record of the US geopolitical movements in recent years, it is undoubtedly a development to watch closely.

Note: AFRICOM has a presence in Liberia due to Ebola infections in West Africa.

Are mercenaries modern pirates?

It occurred to me that the false terror groups – ISIS, Al Queda, Boko Haram – tend to use a white circle against a black background, not to dissimilar to a the skull and bones flags of pirates. Boys clubs like the Skull and Bones retain the symbols of piracy which suggests one of several things:
1) a worship of piracy, akin to gangsta hip-hop stars using the names of notorious drug dealers or mafia bosses
2) an aspirational goal for amoral material success and recognition
3) a historical recognition of the incorporation of piracy and its wealth into the fabric of western society

As far back as the 16th century, we see piracy was encouraged by the Elizabeth I to weaken her then enemy the Spanish. George Bush Snr (ex CIA) and his son, Bush jnr a bonesman would be modern day pirates and are amongst the few known public faces. So what links the piracy of old with modern piracy? The corporation, as exemplified by the East India company.
Elizabeth I gave the East India Company a royal charter to trade, however it soon had its own armies and which dominated and ruled large parts of India. The corporation, the insatiable, psychopathic legal entity animated by human beings held captive by their belief in its omnipotence.

The corporation is an impotent and lifeless piece of paper, if it were not for living human souls working to manifest the singular “vision” of its CEO and shareholders. In this light shareholders are funders of the fleet of pirates. What will be their particular kind of looting? Banking, pharma, biotech, mining, oil, fighting (PMCs)?

The private military contractor is the enforcer of our modern pirate, the outsourced muscle. CEO Pirates of the Corporation of the United States, Bush Snr, Bush Jnr, Clinton and now Obama have now seen fit to release their frontline corp of pirates from the confines of any pretense of legality or social mores. It was evident in Iraq and we see its mark in Ukraine. Ukraine has exposed how PMC can profit from fostering a conflict, waging the conflict and also act as peace-keepers.
Executive Outcomes, Blackwater, Xe, we can see the trajectory. Create the failed state and then exploit its resources. The false terror groups also fit nicely into this, would Mali and Libya not be evidence of this?

The intelligence services are about maintaining the piracy under “national interests”. The victims in Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Mali, Ukraine, Venezuela can see the looting and robbing. The intelligence collection agencies you would have thought would subvert these obvious acts of piracy but actually fabricate the evidence in support if none existed.
NSA spying, PMC, torture, rendition, militarized police, “too big to fail”, TTIP, TPP unrelenting assaults on humanity.
To answer my question: Are mercenaries modern pirates? Yes but they are just the henchmen, the pirate masterminds are in board rooms. Without nation states at least turning a blind eye to the activities of PMCs, they would wither away.
This leads to another thought: Piracy central has to be the City of London, so Elizabeth II as a member of Knights of Malta, you are at least guilty of global piracy by association.

Keiser Report: Global Market For Conflict (E721)

Published on Feb 19, 2015
Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert discuss the new Blackwater world order in which corporations employ and deploy mercenaries to enforce their extrajudicial TTIP ‘rights’ over sovereign nations of non-corporate person-peasants. In the second half, Max continues his interview with Mitch Feierstein of Planet Ponzi.com about the Carney effect on the Canadian dollar and the velocity of money. Mitch also has a chart, the most important chart the audience will ever see and that is the gold price chart. He tells the Keiser Report what it means for the future of monetary policy and our economies.
