Jon’s poem is a reminder of the multitude of deceits and frauds that is “western” life: Bought politicians, war as a racket, financial, legal, academic/scientific, political, medical, historical deceits. Rotten festering zombies clothed in saville row suits, seated around board room tables, praying to their god of infinite growth and profits.
