Barcelona forward Neymar has been ruled out for two weeks after being diagnosed with mumps, a contagious viral infection, despite having a vaccine against the disease.
The Champions League winners are preparing to face Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup next Tuesday and will have make do without their star forward.
A club statement on Sunday confirmed Neymar will be sidelined for a couple of weeks but should be back in time for the start of the La Liga season.
