What Peter Brabeck CEO of Nestle thinks about your right to water

“Water is of course the most important raw material we have today in the world. It’s a question of whether we should privatise the normal water supply for the population. And there are two different opinions on the matter. The one opinion, which I think is extreme, is represented by the NGOs, who bang on about declaring water a public right. This means that as a human being you should have a right to water. That’s an extreme solution. And the other view says that water is a foodstuff like any other, and like any other foodstuff it should have a market value. Personally I believe it’s better to give foodstuff a value so that we’re all aware that it has its price, and then that one should take specific measures for the part of the population that has no access to this water, and there are many different possibilities there. I’m still of the opinion that the biggest social responsibility of any CEO is to maintain and ensure the successful and profitable future of his enterprise.”

  1. Reblogged this on An Atheist in Adelaide and commented:
According to this dude, water is NOT a human right… just a ‘foodstuff’ like any other, to be sold for as much profit as the market will bear… and Nestle are evidently aiming at monopolizing that commodity.

Let’s show this R-soul exactly what we think of his opinion… boycott Nestle and all its subsidiaries… Unless I’m much mistaken Nestle have already bought up most of the water rights in along the western seaboard of the USA… I don’t know about the eastern seaboard or Europe, but I’d hazard a guess they own the lion’s share of the water rights there too…

And I KNOW that water has ALREADY been privatized in South Oz… though I believe it’s owned by a British company… and probably the rest of the Great Southern Land’s water has been ‘privatized’ (read ‘stolen’) too…

What really worries me is the fact that these bastards OWN the people who make the laws which either accept or reject their probably eugenicist-inspired proposition.

In any case… if water isn’t a ‘human right’, what gives his company the right to it… the fact that they paid some bought-off politicians and lawyers to have a declaration that it is not a human right enshrined in law?

I feel so sorry for our children and grandchildren, who will have to grow up in the kind of world we are creating… a totally fascist world where NOTHING must stand in the way of the almighty $… The human race will only exist to be exploited; those who will be permitted to live after the Great Cull… which will not be many…
